Protect your Rights!
If you have sustained injury and need
immediate medical attention, pursue that first.
Do not permit an insurance company representative to record or tape a
statement from you in person or by telephone until you have either hired an attorney, or,
given that serious consideration. If at any point you do give a statement, consider
giving a non-recorded statement.
The best way to protect your rights is to have a competent attorney
that you feel comfortable with - that you have good communication with - represent you.
Also, or in the alternative, the more you know about how insurance
companies settle claims the better off you will be.
Please note that The State Bar of Nevada does not certify any lawyer as a specialist or
as an expert.
